Excursion
On December 23, 2024, staff of the Botai Museum-Reserve organized educational historical events on the topic “Botai – the Culture of the Great Steppe” at Secondary School No. 11 in Kokshetau, Akmola region, and Secondary School No. 2 in Krasny Yar village, Kokshetau city.
During the event, students were given a lecture and an exhibition dedicated to the Botai culture. The exhibition featured artifacts discovered at the Botai and Krasny Yar settlements, including a bone knife, a bone harpoon, and stone disc-axes, which were historically used for combat and service purposes.
Cultural and Historical Achievements of the Botai Museum-Reserve and Independent Kazakhstan
On December 13, 2024, staff of the Botai Museum-Reserve organized a round table at Kishkenekol Secondary School No. 2 in Kishkenekol village, Ualikhanov district, North Kazakhstan region, dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, on the topic “Cultural and Historical Achievements of the Botai Museum-Reserve and Independent Kazakhstan.”

On December 6, 2024, the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve “Botai” organized a round table via the ZOOM platform dedicated to the memory of Professor of Archaeology, Doctor of Historical Sciences V.F. Zaibert.
“Botai – Culture of the Great Steppe” (Zerenda)
On December 3, 2024, staff of the Botai Museum-Reserve organized educational historical events at Secondary School No. 1 in Zerenda village, Akmola region, on the topic “Botai – Culture of the Great Steppe.”
During the event, students were given a lecture on the Botai culture, and an exhibition of unique Botai cultural artifacts was presented. Master classes on pottery making and stone disc production were also conducted, serving as interactive elements of the ancient Botai culture.
The event was attended by both students and teachers.
“Botai: Culture. Discoveries. Hypotheses”
On November 27, 2024, researchers of the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve “Botai,” together with students of Sh. Ualikhanov Kokshetau University and first-year students, held a seminar on the topic “Botai: Culture. Discoveries. Hypotheses.”
