Working Visit of the District Akim
On November 15, 2024, the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve “Botai” was visited on a working trip by Meiram Zhaksylkovich Mendybayev, Akim of Aiyrtau District.
Mr. Mendybayev familiarized himself with the activities of the institution, the project for the construction of a future Visitor Center, and the development of the museum-reserve.
The district akim listened with great interest to a guided tour about artifacts discovered during archaeological excavations at the Botai settlement and received detailed information about the Botai culture.
Early Tools
On November 7, 2024, staff of the Botai Museum-Reserve organized an exhibition titled “Early Tools” at the district library of Aiyrtau District.
Students from the Saumalkol village school took part in the event.
“Жас дәурен” (“Zhas Dauren”)
An exhibition dedicated to the Botai culture was organized for children from the “Жас дәурен” (“Zhas Dauren”) State Institution — a year-round children’s health camp under the Department of Education of Akmola Region.
The staff of the Botai Museum-Reserve prepared a special lecture for the children on monuments of the Botai culture and presented an exhibition featuring artifacts and unique archaeological finds.
