On May 4, 2019, Professor of Archaeology, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Viktor Fedorovich Zaibert conducted a field seminar at the archaeological excavations of the Botai Settlement.

Decades of excavations at this unique settlement allowed the lead researcher, Viktor Fedorovich, to convincingly define the distinctive Botai Eneolithic culture. Multidisciplinary scientific studies of this cultural phenomenon have been carried out by scholars from Almaty, Saint Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Moscow, Chelyabinsk, the USA, and Petropavlovsk. As part of the study of Botai culture, several international symposia were held with the participation of leading researchers from the United Kingdom, Germany, Iran, Canada, the USA, Czechia, Finland, Japan, Russia, Kazakhstan, and Ukraine.
