
Topic: “Historical and Cultural Heritage of the Northern Region: Challenges and Development Pathways”
Today, on February 25, 2022, the Republican State Enterprise “State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve ‘Botai’” of the Committee of Culture of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan held a republican training online seminar titled “Current Issues of Scientific and Collection Management Work in Museums” in an online format on the ZOOM platform.
One of the unique archaeological sites of the North Kazakhstan Region is the “Botai Settlement,” located in the southern part of the region. The site was discovered in 1980 by archaeologist Viktor Fedorovich Zaibert.
On December 3, 2021, the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve “Botai” held a republican online round table titled “4 Corners – 4 Directions” – “Achievements and Development Prospects of Kazakhstani Archaeologists during the Years of Independence,” dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
