“4 Corners – 4 Directions” – “Achievements and Development Prospects of Kazakhstani Archaeologists during the Years of Independence”

On December 3, 2021, the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve “Botai” held a republican online round table titled “4 Corners – 4 Directions” – “Achievements and Development Prospects of Kazakhstani Archaeologists during the Years of Independence,” dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The online round table brought together archaeologists from four regions of Kazakhstan (north, south, west, and east), as well as scientists, historians, museum researchers, master’s students, and doctoral candidates.

Participants discussed the achievements of Kazakhstani archaeology during the years of Independence, the scientific significance and preservation of historical and cultural monuments in Kazakhstan, as well as the theory and practice of archaeology in the country.
