The Republican State Enterprise “State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve ‘Botai’” of the Committee of Culture of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan will hold a republican training online seminar titled “Current Issues of Scientific and Collection Management Work in Museums” on February 25, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. The event will take place online via the ZOOM platform.

The purpose of the seminar is to enhance the professional capacity of museum staff in matters of accounting and storage of museum collections, exhibit restoration technologies, and to introduce modern methods in the field of collection management and preservation.
During the event, there will be an exchange of experience and a constructive dialogue on issues of collection management and ways to address them among custodians of collections from national and regional museums of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
