
On April 16, at the Aiyrtau District House of Culture, the regional review of amateur artistic creativity “Tugan Zher – the Cradle of Unity and Nationhood” was held.
The Republican State Enterprise “State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve ‘Botai’” actively participated in this event with a traveling exhibition titled “Botai – Culture of the Great Steppe.”
The exhibition featured unique artifacts discovered at the Botai and Krasny Yar settlements, clothing of a Botai woman reconstructed based on the model of American scantiest Sandra Olsen, as well as paintings by museum restorer Yuri Borisovich Tikhonov dedicated to the Botai culture.
The State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve “Botai” announces the holding of a republican competition on the theme “The Steppe of Arka – the Homeland of Horses”, to be conducted from April 15 to April 30 among students of grades 5–8.
The purpose of the competition is to foster patriotism among the younger generation and to promote the Botai culture, encourage interest in the study of the history of Kazakhstan, its regions, and the Botai heritage, as well as to develop students’ creative skills and popularize artistic expression among the population of the region.
On April 15, 2025, the Botai Museum-Reserve was visited by children from the “Neposeda” group of the Kolosok nursery-kindergarten in Saumalkol village.
An excursion was organized for the children in the exhibition hall of the museum-reserve.
During the visit, the children were introduced to the Botai culture, the history of its research, and preserved artifacts from the Eneolithic period.
The Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan announces a competition for the vacant position of Director of the Republican State Treasury Enterprise “State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve ‘Botai’.”

On March 31, an anonymous questionnaire on knowledge of anti-corruption legislation was conducted among the staff of the Republican State Enterprise “State Museum-Reserve Botai.”
