Today, on November 14, the Botai Museum-Reserve held a museum lesson and an exhibition at the Multidisciplinary Higher College “Zeynep” in the village of Lobanovo.

During the event, students were shown a film about Botai, were told about the first archaeological excavations at the Botai settlement, and were presented with a presentation about the museification process and Botai dwellings.

The meeting concluded with the exhibition “Botai – Culture of the Great Steppe,” where participants were able to see unique artifacts of the Botai culture and come into closer contact with the heritage of the ancient steppe.

On November 13, Director of the Botai State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve Sabina Karimovna Amirova met with Deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the Association of Russian, Slavic and Cossack Organizations of Kazakhstan Sergey Mikhailovich Ponomarev, who arrived in the North Kazakhstan region on a working visit.

During the trip, the parties visited the Residence of Abylai Khan in Petropavlovsk, where they discussed issues of preserving and popularizing the historical and cultural heritage of the region, as well as prospects for cooperation in the field of cultural and educational projects.

The meeting was held in a constructive atmosphere and emphasized the importance of working together to develop historical tourism and strengthen intercultural dialogue.

Today, on November 12, a museum lesson dedicated to the month of "Tools of the Botai Culture" was held in the exhibition hall of the Botai Museum-Reserve for the participants of the Young Archaeologist circle.

During the lesson, the children got acquainted with a variety of ancient tools, learned how the Botai people made and used them in everyday life, agriculture and hunting.

Participants were able to compare ancient instruments with modern analogues and participate in cognitive interactive tasks.
