Museum Lesson at the Botai Museum-Reserve

Today, on November 12, a museum lesson was held in the exhibition hall of the Botai Museum-Reserve for members of the “Young Archaeologist” club, dedicated to the month of “Tools of the Botai Culture.”

During the lesson, the children became acquainted with the variety of ancient tools and learned how the Botai people made and used them in everyday life, agriculture, and hunting.

The participants were able to compare ancient tools with modern equivalents and take part in educational interactive activities.

"Botai At the origins of steppe civilization".

On November 12, 2025, the Botai Museum-Reserve organized a traveling exhibition and museum event called "Botai at the origins of Steppe Civilization" in the Ayyrtau Center for Social Services of the population as part of an action to promote cultural inclusion.

During the campaign, master classes were held, short videos were shown and an informative lecture on the Botai culture was given. The participants were also shown a documentary about Botai and presented a presentation on the issues of museification of the archaeological heritage.

“Botai. At the Origins of Steppe Civilization”

On November 12, 2025, the Botai Museum-Reserve, as part of an initiative to develop cultural inclusivity, organized a traveling exhibition and a museum event titled “Botai. At the Origins of Steppe Civilization” at the Aiyrtau Center for Social Services.

During the event, workshops were held, short video materials were shown, and an educational lecture on the Botai culture was delivered. Participants were also shown a documentary film about Botai and a presentation dedicated to the issues of museification of archaeological heritage.

The young archaeologist

On November 6, 2025, the interregional conference of young historians "History, culture and prospects for the development of the regions of Kazakhstan through the eyes of young historians" was held in Petropavlovsk.

The conference was attended by students of the KSU "Saumalkol Secondary School No. 1" of the Ayyrtau district of the North Kazakhstan region. These are the participants of the "Young Archaeologist" circle at the Botai Museum-Reserve.

At this event, Zhaksybayeva Tomiris and Torgayeva Dayana, as well as Fatiadi Varvara and Zalevskaya Yanina, who took the second place, successfully defended their research works.

The young researchers presented research papers on the history and culture of their native land, showed a high level of training, analytical skills and interest in the history of Kazakhstan.

Young Archaeologist

On November 6, 2025, an interregional conference of young historians titled “History, Culture, and Development Prospects of the Regions of Kazakhstan through the Eyes of Young Historians” was held in the city of Petropavlovsk.

The conference was attended by students of KSU “Saumalkol Secondary School No. 1” of the Aiyrtau District of the North Kazakhstan Region. These participants are members of the “Young Archaeologist” club at the Botai Museum-Reserve.

At this event, Tomiris Zhaksybayeva and Dayana Torgayeva successfully defended their research projects, as well as Varvara Fatiadi and Yaniina Zalesskaya, who took second place.

The young researchers presented studies dedicated to the history and culture of their native land, demonstrating a high level of preparation, analytical skills, and interest in the history of Kazakhstan.
