We invite you to visit the travelling exhibition “Botai – Culture of the Great Steppe” presented by the Botai State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve, visiting Kostanay from the North Kazakhstan Region!

Take a journey into the 7,000-year-old cultural heritage of the Great Steppe!

The Botai settlement in the Aiyrtau District is one of the most important archaeological sites of the Eneolithic period. It is here that some of the world’s earliest evidence of horse domestication was discovered.

At the exhibition, you will have the opportunity to see archaeological artifacts that reveal the life and culture of the ancient Botai people and discover the fascinating history of the Great Steppe.
