An intellectual game entitled “Botai – Culture of the Great Steppe” was held in the city of Petropavlovsk at the Sabit Mukanov Regional Universal Scientific Library.

The event was organized by the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve “Botai”. It was aimed at promoting historical and cultural heritage, encouraging young people’s interest in archaeology, and enhancing knowledge of the Botai culture.

Students from the following educational institutions participated in the event:

– Secondary School No. 21

– School-Complex of Aesthetic Education No. 8

– Boarding Lyceum School “Lord” for Gifted Children

The participants demonstrated a strong knowledge of the history of Kazakhstan, archaeology, and the Botai culture, as well as a high level of engagement and enthusiasm. The intellectual game served not only as a competition, but also as an effective platform for broadening participants’ horizons and acquiring new knowledge.

Such events play an important role in fostering respect for national heritage among the younger generation and in strengthening historical awareness.
