On 23 February, a board meeting of the Department of Culture, Language Development and Archives was held in the city of Petropavlovsk. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Akim of the North Kazakhstan Region Zhusup Zhumagulov, with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Committee of Culture of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sabit Barlybayev.

During the meeting, Director of the Botai State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve, Sabina Karimovna Amirova, delivered a report on the institution’s activities and its future development prospects.

The report presented the key results achieved in 2025 and outlined strategic priorities for the further development of the museum-reserve. Particular attention was given to the preservation of historical and cultural heritage, the promotion of the culture of the Great Steppe, and the expansion of excursion and educational activities.

The Botai Museum-Reserve continues to implement a systematic and comprehensive approach to the study and promotion of the unique heritage of the Botai culture, while strengthening cooperation at both the national and international levels.
