On November 12, 2025, the Botai Museum-Reserve, as part of an initiative to develop cultural inclusivity, organized a traveling exhibition and a museum event titled “Botai. At the Origins of Steppe Civilization” at the Aiyrtau Center for Social Services.

During the event, workshops were held, short video materials were shown, and an educational lecture on the Botai culture was delivered. Participants were also shown a documentary film about Botai and a presentation dedicated to the issues of museification of archaeological heritage.

At the end of the event, a master class on the production of a stone disc was held, allowing participants to experience the craft traditions of ancient masters.

More than 50 people took part in the initiative, becoming acquainted with the rich heritage of Botai and recent archaeological discoveries.
