“Archaeology of Northern Kazakhstan: Achievements and Prospects”

The North Kazakhstan branch of the A. Kh. Margulan Institute of Archaeology organized a round table titled “Archaeology of Northern Kazakhstan: Achievements and Prospects,” dedicated to the study, preservation, and promotion of the archaeological heritage of the region.

The Botai Museum-Reserve took part in the event, presenting materials reflecting the results of research and museum activities.

As part of the meeting, new results of field archaeological research were presented, as well as books published based on the outcomes of work carried out in 2023–2025.

The purpose of the round table was to exchange experience among archaeologists, museum specialists, and representatives of science, culture, and education.

The event was held within the framework of the targeted program project of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan BR24992951 “Archaeological Heritage of Saryarka (from the Stone Age to the Middle Ages).”
