On October 22, the Botai Museum-Reserve warmly welcomed students from the village of Kyzylasker, Aiyrtau District.

An engaging and informative excursion was organized for the students, beginning with a tour of the extensive exhibition of the museum-reserve. The children had the opportunity to explore in detail the history, everyday life, and culture of the ancient inhabitants of these lands.

The highlight of the visit was a trip to the Botai archaeological settlement itself — a world-renowned monument of the Eneolithic period. The young visitors saw with their own eyes the place where the horse was first domesticated in the world and touched upon a history spanning thousands of years.

Such visits not only broaden one’s horizons but also foster a respectful attitude toward the historical heritage of our region.
