Since September 2025, the “Young Archaeologist” club has been operating under the guidance of history teacher of Saumalkol Secondary School No. 1 and master teacher Yerlan Zhumabekovich Bukenov. The instructor has developed an original 34-hour course program titled “Botai – the Cradle of Nomadic Civilization,” intended for school students and implemented within the framework of the subject “History of Kazakhstan.”

The aim of the program is to develop students’ basic historical thinking, research skills, and cross-curricular competencies through practice-oriented activities within the archaeological club.
