On December 13, 2024, staff of the Botai Museum-Reserve organized a round table at Kishkenekol Secondary School No. 2 in Kishkenekol village, Ualikhanov district, North Kazakhstan region, dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, on the topic “Cultural and Historical Achievements of the Botai Museum-Reserve and Independent Kazakhstan.”

The round table was attended by high school students, teachers, and researchers.

The discussion highlighted that Independence Day is one of the most important national holidays in Kazakhstan, celebrated annually on December 16.

The purpose of the round table was to familiarize students with Kazakhstan’s struggle for independence and the achievements of the country during the years of independence.

During the event, an exhibition was presented dedicated to the December events and to the young people who sacrificed their lives, paving the way toward Kazakhstan’s independence.

Reports were delivered on the following topics: «Тәуелсіздік белестері»; «Тәуелсіздік –азаттықтың асыл кепілі»; «Рухани жаңғыру жолында – Тәуелсіздік жетістіктері»

The round table once again emphasized the importance of fostering patriotism among students, increasing political awareness and cognitive activity, and educating morally responsible citizens with an active civic position.
