Today, 31 October 2023, staff of the “Botai” Museum-Reserve took part in a republican online lecture on the topic “Preservation and Promotion of National Historical and Cultural Heritage at the Republican Level,” organized by the “Monuments of Ancient Taraz” Museum-Reserve. The lecture was dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the “Monuments of Ancient Taraz” Museum-Reserve.
Today, 31 October 2023, staff of the “Botai” Museum-Reserve took part in a republican online lecture on the topic “Preservation and Promotion of National Historical and Cultural Heritage at the Republican Level,” organized by the “Monuments of Ancient Taraz” Museum-Reserve. The lecture was dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the “Monuments of Ancient Taraz” Museum-Reserve.
The aim of the lecture was to examine and analyze the contribution, place, and role of the city of Taraz, located along the Great Silk Road, in world culture, as well as the history of the study of ancient and medieval archaeology of Taraz.
The online lecture covered the following areas:
- the Kaly Zhunis bathhouse built in an oriental style
- the historically rooted Tekturmas site
- the Auliye-Ata mosque with its centuries-old history
The online lecture was attended by research staff of the museum-reserve, methodologists, archaeologists, and historians.
