Today, Akim of the North Kazakhstan region Gauez Torsanovich paid a working visit to the Botai Museum-Reserve.
During the visit, the head of the region got acquainted with the museum's exhibition halls, the history and unique artifacts of the Botai culture, one of the most important monuments of the Chalcolithic era.
The guests were presented with master classes on ancient technologies: the process of making ceramics, creating a stone disk, as well as grinding herbs in the traditional way. The visitors were able to get to know the way of life and craft of the ancient inhabitants of Botai better.
Such meetings contribute to the popularization of the historical and cultural heritage of the region, the development of domestic tourism and the preservation of the unique culture of the Great Steppe.
