On October 22, the Botai Museum-Reserve hospitably welcomed students from the village of Kyzylasker, Ayyrtau district.
An exciting and informative tour was conducted for the children, which began with an inspection of the rich exposition of our museum-reserve. The children were able to get acquainted in detail with the history, way of life and culture of the ancient inhabitants of these lands.
The highlight of the visit was a visit to the archaeological settlement of Botai itself, a world—famous monument of the Chalcolithic era. The young guests saw with their own eyes the place where the horse was domesticated for the first time in the world, and touched upon the thousand-year history.
Such trips not only broaden the horizons, but also foster a careful attitude towards the historical heritage of our region!
