Since September 2025, the "Young Archaeologist" club has been operating under the guidance of history teacher and master educator Yerlan Zhumabekuly Bukenov at Saumalkol Secondary School No. 1.

As part of the club's activities, Yerlan Bukenov developed a 34-hour original course titled “Botai – The Cradle of Nomadic Civilization”. The program is designed for general education school students and is implemented within the framework of the "History of Kazakhstan" subject.

The aim of the program is to foster and develop students' historical thinking, research skills, and interdisciplinary competencies through practice-oriented activities within the archaeological club.
