Republican Competition “Best Author Program”

On December 4–5, the final of the Republican contest “Best Author Program” was held in Almaty. The North Kazakhstan Region was proudly represented by Zh. Bukenov, a researcher and the head of the “Young Archaeologist” club at the Botai Museum-Reserve, as well as a history teacher at Saumalkol Secondary School No. 1.

E. Zh. Bukenov presented his author’s program, “Botai – Cradle of Nomadic Civilization,” which is successfully implemented at the Botai Museum-Reserve and has already demonstrated its effectiveness in working with 5th and 6th-grade students. The program is aimed at fostering students’ interest in archaeology, the historical heritage of Northern Kazakhstan, and the cultural roots of the Kazakh people.
