Today, October 8, 2025, an educational session was held at the Botai Museum-Reserve as part of the “Young Archaeologist” club under the guidance of Yerlan Zhumabekovich Bukenov.
This time, students from Saumalkol Secondary School No. 1 visited the museum. During the session, the children studied a model of an ancient Botai dwelling, explored the daily life and lifestyle of the ancient people, and learned about the unique features of the Botai culture.
The session was conducted by history teacher Yerlan Zhumabekovich Bukenov, who answered all the students’ questions in detail. As part of the practical activities, the students drew their favorite artifacts on paper, reinforcing the knowledge they had gained.
The children showed genuine interest in history, felt like real archaeologists, and immersed themselves in the atmosphere of the distant past.
At the end of the lesson, commemorative photos were taken. Each student left not only with new knowledge but also with vivid impressions.
Such sessions play an important role in education and in promoting national history, as learning about their country’s past provides young people with a solid foundation for confidently moving into the future.
