Our artist, Yuri Tikhonov, continues to lead the Drawing Club. This club is a push for the development of imagination, creativity, independence, initiative, and self-expression. Yuri has an individual approach for each student.

The club’s program is based on principles of consistency, clarity, purposefulness, and a close connection to real life. Drawing helps children explore the world around them, teaches them to analyze shapes, develops visual memory, spatial thinking, and the ability for imaginative reasoning.

Classes are designed as a game—introducing children to unusual drawing techniques that go beyond conventional methods. Children are offered different types of drawing: using dots, fingers, and splashes. Each session includes detailed explanations of the technique and a sample of the artwork to be created.
