On the eve of the celebration of the Republic Day of Kazakhstan, on October 17, the Botai Museum-Reserve organized a discussion platform on the topic: “Preservation and Protection of Monuments in the Northern Region of Kazakhstan: Challenges and Prospects for the Development of Botai Culture.”

The event was attended by: Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor of M. Kozybayev North Kazakhstan University Anatoly Pleshakov; Director of the North Kazakhstan Branch of the A. Margulan Institute of Archaeology Meruert Kiyasbek; and Director of the Center for the Protection and Use of Historical and Cultural Heritage of the Akmola Region Department of Culture, Zhasulan Ukeev. During the event, staff members of the Botai Museum-Reserve presented reports.

The discussion aimed to exchange knowledge and best practices in preserving and protecting historical and cultural heritage monuments.
