Today February 12, 2024, staff of the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve “Botai” organized an exhibition for the residents of Kirillovka village, Ayirtau district, on the topic “Culture of the Botai Great Steppe.” The exhibition included discussions on the history of Botai culture and presentations on archaeological excavations.

During the event, Vladimir Aleksandrovich Iskrizhitsky, Chief Inspector for the Protection and Use of Historical and Cultural Heritage at the Botai Museum-Reserve, emphasized the special role of the museum in defining goals and objectives for the protection and use of heritage sites, as well as in promoting them to younger generations.

The exhibition also featured unique artifacts, including a bone knife discovered at the Botai settlement, a human skull with signs of trepanation, a bone harpoon, a lancet, pottery fragments, and other items.
