Excursion to the Botai Settlement for the International Day of Older Persons

Today, in celebration of the International Day of Older Persons, the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve “Botai” organized a special excursion to the Botai settlement for pensioners from the Aiyrtau District.
The guests learned about the history of the ancient Botai settlement, archaeological research and unique discoveries. They also learned about the significance of the Botai culture in world history, including the early domestication of the horse.
The main purpose of the event was to show respect and appreciation to the older generation, provide an opportunity to spend meaningful and educational time together, and promote the historical and cultural heritage of the region.
