A fragment of a bone psalm (auyzdyk) from the Botai settlement is a unique archaeological artifact of the Chalcolithic era.
He is a symbol of early horse breeding and Botai's outstanding contribution to world history.
Psalms are an important part of the ancient bridle set. These are a pair of vertical rods that were attached perpendicular to the ends of the bits and served to securely fix them in the horse's mouth. The psalter is made of horse bone.
The length of the fragment is 10.5 cm, the width is 2.5 cm.
In the central part of the product there is a biconic hole with a diameter of 1 cm, designed to fix the bit.
